Our Accomplishments

September 2025: The Very Beginning

The Entrepreneurship Society was started by five Mott Community College students who were interested in business and wanted to support other students in entrepreneurship. The club is open to any MCC student who is curious about business, wants to start a business, or wants to learn how entrepreneurship works outside of the classroom. We plan to bring in guest speakers, attend pitch competitions, go on field trips, and visit workshops that teach different business aspects. We focus on what our members want to gain. Business offers many different paths, and we want to accommodate every members’ goals. Our goal is to help students build experience, confidence, and connections.

Guest Speaker: Andy Suski

Guest Speaker: Andy Suski

We hosted our first event as a club last Thursday, Feb. 19th, with Andy Suski, the owner of Suski Chevrolet Buick in Birch Run, Michigan. Mr. Suski shared his entrepreneurial journey and discussed how he built and scaled one of the region’s leading automotive dealerships. His speech ended with a Q&A session where students had the opportunity to ask him questions to feel inspired and motivated to start their own entrepreneurial journeys.

A huge thank you to our Vice President, Kasper McKnight, for taking photos of the event.
